This smooth little beauty is a whetstone, used for sharpening items such as knives, sickles etc. Whetstones can be found as far back as the Bronze Age!👀

Identifiable by their soft surfaces and normally worked edges, whetstones can come in a variety of shapes and sizes. These were crucial tools of the household, farmstead and even barracks for weapon maintenance🗡
