#MeetTheStaffMonday Xander

This #MeetTheStaffMonday we are meeting Xander🎉

“Hullo! I’m Xander, as a Senior Site Assistant at the Trust my main task is to diggy diggy hole ⚒

I’ve worked here for over three years and was bumped up to senior earlier this year. I’m happiest on a rural site, preferably under a gloriously overcast sky! ☁️

Despite this preference for green field archaeology one of my favourite sites since I began work for the trust was probably Jack’s, the unique experience of shaft excavations inside of a building will stick with me forever. Quite aside from the fantastic archaeology in the center of Colchester it was also wonderful to have spent a summer out of the sun! 🌞

Outside of work, my top hobbies include playing tabletop/pencil-paper role play games (like D&D), motorcycling and playing/streaming video games!!🎮”
