Both the Colchester Archaeological Trust (CAT) and the Roman Circus Visitor Centre are situated in Roman Circus House.
The Roman Circus Visitor Centre forms part of CAT and is situated on the ground floor of Roman Circus House. Based on one floor, this accessible space is dedicated to visitor engagement and educational activity, housing two excellent models, one of Roman Colchester and one of the Roman Circus. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Roman Circus Walk is a narrow residential cul-de-sac, unsuitable for coach access.
CAT’s commercial offices are located upstairs, accommodating the organisation’s archaeological teams. Given the team are often on site undertaking fieldwork, please email or call in advance of visiting the CAT offices.
