WORK EXPERIENCE

Our summer work experience placements have come to an end. It’s been great to welcome a whole host of students into the Trust and teach them about commercial archaeology. We thank everyone for their commitment and enthusiasm

“Work experience at CAT has been a week of fun!

I’ve been busy cleaning (and doing my best not to break!) a Bronze Age cremation urn with beautiful decoration across it, as well as archiving plenty of sherds so that they’re ready to go to museums, which has all been very interesting!

Seeing what goes on behind-the-scenes in archaeology has been a fascinating experience, and everyone has been a delight to work with – a wonderful experience all around!“
