#MeetTheStaffMonday Vikki

Today we are meeting Vikki for #MeetTheStaffMonday🎉

“Hi everyone, my name is Vikki and I am a Senior Post-Excavation Assistant here at CAT!

My role is very varied, one day I could be boxing up archives, and another I am running a large scale volunteer event. I am based at the office to make sure that all of the lovely finds from site get washed and processed, and to run our volunteer and work experience programme⚱

In a previous life I was a Field Archaeologist, but also have a museum background, which helps me when I am supporting with exhibitions and any work that I do with community and school groups🤗

Outside of work, I am completing my Masters in History, specifically focused on the English Civil War. I am always keen on taking on a new challenge, and combining public engagement with my passion for the past!👀

You can always get in contact with me if you have any questions about careers in archaeology.. I am here to help!💭”
