For #EYAArt, enjoy a picture of our illustrator Emma, working on an archaeological illustration of the Medusa pendant.

This pendant was found on our Butt Road car-park site in Colchester in 2012-13. It is Roman and made of jet, which isa rare material and used for grave goods by the Romans in the 3rd and 4th centuries. This pendant was found in a child’s grave.
