#ArchiveAdventCalendar – Family

Today we’ll be talking about #Family for the #ArchiveAdventCalendar. It can sometimes be difficult to ascertain familial relationships in archaeological record.

Recently, however, CAT Osteologist Meg has been working with the team at @thefranciscrickinstitute to analyse DNA from historical burials around Colchester. While we don’t have the results to share with you yet, it’ll be fascinating to see if ancient DNA can help us uncover families in the archaeological record!
