Saturday 9th August 2014 – Roman bath-house excavation at Faversham

On this excursion, we will be stopping at the Maison Dieu (English Heritage) museum, then going on to Faversham for some free time, and finishinh with a visit to the Roman bath-house excavation at Abbey Barns, before returning to Colchester.

Entrance for the Maison Dieu costs £2.00 per head. As some of us are English Heritage members, I suggest that we each pay on arrival at the museum.

The coach will leave from outside the Greyfriars hotel in Colchester at 8.30 am and return to Colchester at about 6.00 pm. The excursion costs £23.00 per FCAT member. Please make cheques payable to FCAT – if you are booking for more than one trip, then one cheque will suffice, and please send an SAE for your ticket(s).
