The last of the tours of the Roman cemetery on the now-closed Butt Road public car park will take place at 11.00 am on Saturday 8th December. But all is not yet lost. There will be the usual tours at the usual times from now until then – at 11.00am and 2.00pm on the preceding Monday to Friday (ie December 3rd-7th) but not on Sunday 2nd December or the afternoon of Saturday 1st December. Tours start and finish at the Roman Circus Centre which can only be reached off Circular Road North. Please see here for map and directions: how to find us on foot and how to find us by car.
