Happy Christmas!

Today (18th December), the Trust sent out our Christmas cards.  We would like to wish everyone a happy Christmas, winter festival or Saturnalia… We would also like to thank you all for your support in 2014 of the Trust and of Colchester’s Roman circus and circus centre, for your interest in our web-site and for following us on Twitter. We are looking forward to 2015!

Our Christmas card shows the reconstructed stumps of the circus starting-gates, which we completed in 2014, and which stand in the garden next to our building, Roman Circus House. (The image is a digital photograph and the site of the circus was only digitally decorated…)
