H H Building Services to the rescue!

Yesterday (30th January), Brian and Steve – Colchester builders whose business is called H H Building Services – came to introduce themselves and very kindly do some voluntary work for the Trust at Roman Circus House. We were surprised and delighted. After a guided tour round the building, they set to, removing the redundant gas heaters in the two large downstairs rooms and blocking their vents with some skilful brickwork. The largest room was the men’s canteen in the original barracks NAAFI and is being renovated to become our new cafe. Today they finished their voluntary work.

The Trust is very grateful to Brian and Steve of H H Building Services for their help. You are always welcome to come back and do some more! – or just to have a drink in our cafe.

The image shows Brian and Steve hard at work yesterday, at the front of Roman Circus House.
