Colchester Archaeological Group: three January lectures

The Colchester Archaeological Group (CAG) Winter Lectures programme includes three lectures in January 2013. These all take place on Monday evening at 7.30pm, at the Lion Walk United Reformed Church in the town centre. Admission £2 Members, £4 Non-Members. The January lectures are:

* 14th January – Roger Smith discusses the Stow Maries Aerodrome; Past and Present.
* 21st January – Tim Reynolds, Senior Lecturer in Archaeology at Birkbeck College, University of London, discusses recent work at the Haua Fteah, Libya.
* 28th January – Deanna Walker presents ‘Hidden in the Undergrowth – the Story of the Basildon Plotlands’.

The CAG was founded in 1957 and presents an annual series of lectures, publishes a quarterly bulletin four times a year, and undertakes volunteer archaeological fieldwork, including excavations.
