Happy Monday everyone!

Friday and Saturday last week saw a series of fantastic Colchester Archaeological Trust events that helped foster public interest in local archaeology.

This included;

Two open days at the Former Bus Depot Queen Street site

‘The Story of Britain’s First Town Wall’ Exhibition at The Minories Galleries

Roman Day at the Roman Circus Visitor Centre

Thank you so much to all of the staff and volunteers that helped out and made the event so excellent. Also thank you to all of the visitors that attended (despite the slightly dubious weather!) – it was great to see so many of you so interested in the site!
