Summary
Archaeological monitoring and recording was carried out at 37d London Road, Maldon, Essex in
advance of the construction of a side extension. Despite lying within the bounds of Maldon Burh, an
area associated with Anglo-Saxon settlement, archaeological monitoring revealed only a single
undated pit.
