Summary
Archaeological monitoring was carried out at 55 Audley Road, Colchester, Essex during groundworks for alterations and extensions to the existing property. The development site is located within the area of the Late Iron Age oppidum of Camulodunum and close to an area of Roman burials. No significant archaeological features were uncovered.
