Summary
An archaeological watching brief was carried out at 23 Sussex Road, Colchester, Essex in advance of the construction of a two-storey rear extension. Despite being located close to the sites of a number of Roman cemeteries and to the Late Iron Age/early Roman scheduled monument at Sheepen, no significant archaeological horizons were identified.
