Summary
This site is on the fringes of Colchester’s Roman cemetery area. Archaeological monitoring during the removal of old footings and the digging of foundation trenches for a new extension revealed no archaeological features, deposits or finds. Modern topsoil
directly sealed natural geological deposits.
