An archaeological watching brief on new fence posts and information board in lower Castle Park, footings at the cafe, and three new benches in upper Castle Park, Colchester, Essex

The watching brief was carried out during the digging of small holes for new fence posts in Lower Castle Park. The Castle Park is protected as a scheduled ancient monument. No features of archaeological significance were disturbed by the groundworks.
