Archaeological monitoring and recording at Tiptofts Farm, Cole End Lane, Sewards End, Essex, CB10 2LH: December 2025

Archaeological monitoring and recording was carried out at Tiptofts Farm, Cole End Lane, Sewards
End, Essex, during groundworks for the creation a wastewater discharge point. Located immediately
to the north of the scheduled monument of Tiptoft’s moated medieval site and fishponds, groundworks
revealed a late 18th- to 19th-century brick culvert/drain and a modern concrete pad.
